Mali's Tea Time

Afternoon tea is traditionally served in Great Britain with a pot of tea and fine pastries, and in the Zillertal, we uphold tradition. But it wouldn't be MalisGarten if we didn't top off this English ceremony with our local "royals". That's why our own delicious herbal blends await you along with the classic tea varieties.

We don't experiment with pastries for tea time. It simply has to be classic scones with clotted cream - small pastries made from buttery shortcrust pastry with a creamy spread made from cooked cream. We also serve our homemade jams and top off tea time with petit fours and hearty alpine sandwiches.
